The Talaria Sting R was designed by former electric motorcycle engineers who wanted to one-up the Sur-Ron Light Bee X in every measurable way — and largely succeeded. Peak power jumps from the Light Bee's 8 kW to 11 kW, top speed reaches ~53 mph, range extends to 53 miles, and the seat height is taller at 880 mm for a more aggressive riding position.

Four levels of regenerative braking give Sting R riders superior control on technical descents and tight trail sections. The wider swingarm and stiffened frame improve high-speed stability compared to the Light Bee X.
