Buying an Adult Electric Dirt Bike in the USA — What to Know

The adult electric dirt bike market has matured rapidly. In 2025, you can buy a genuine performance machine at every price point — from the beginner-friendly Sur-Ron Light Bee X at $3,500 to the FIM-race-proven Stark Varg MX 1.2 at $11,900+.

Beginner Adults

If this is your first electric dirt bike, start with the Sur-Ron Light Bee X. At 110 lbs with multiple power modes, it's the lightest serious electric dirt bike on the market — easy to handle, easy to transport, and with the largest aftermarket parts ecosystem of any electric dirt bike in the US.

Intermediate Adults

The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee HP 2025 is the consensus recommendation. At $6,499 you get 21 kW in Turbo mode, traction control, swappable battery, three power modes plus Turbo and Crawl, regenerative braking, and reverse gear. Ultra Bees made up more than half of entries at the 2024 Red Bull Tennessee Knockout eMoto class.

Advanced and Competition Riders

The Stark Varg MX 1.2 is the only serious answer. 80 HP, 7.2 kWh battery, KYB factory suspension, Brembo brakes, and the only electric bike competing in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. If you're racing or riding hard, nothing else comes close.

Note on Tariffs: Many adult electric dirt bikes (Sur-Ron, Talaria, Segway) are manufactured in China. A 25% US import tariff may affect pricing. All prices shown are current estimates and may change. Contact us for the latest pricing before purchase.
