The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee HP 2025 is a massive step up from the original Ultra Bee. Peak power jumps to 21 kW in Turbo mode — a 68% increase from the outgoing 12.5 kW model — thanks to a new hairpin-wound motor that runs cooler and more efficiently.

What makes the Ultra Bee HP exceptional is the feature set at $6,499. Traction control, adjustable throttle maps, five power modes (including Turbo and Crawl), four levels of regenerative braking, a swappable battery, reverse gear, and under-seat charger storage. Most of those features cost extra on bikes twice the price.

Is the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee HP street legal in the US?
No. The Ultra Bee HP is designed and sold for off-road, private land use only. It does not meet NHTSA standards for street use. For California, it requires green sticker OHV registration under Section 436.1 (November 2025) to ride on public OHV land.
